Time flies, the first month of 2018 has passed, and ONEROOT Project has also got a new look. This week’s weekly report will focus on progress in product development and operation. Everyone, take a look in the work we have done this week.
Product Development
1. The transaction function of ROOTOKEN wallet is tested under kovan network environment, focusing on testing top-up, buy-sell transaction, and making and canceling orders.
2. During the testing, some bugs are found, including the failure of making and taking orders, incorrect displaying of a part of data after the transaction, no response to button click, etc. In addition, some bugs like inappropriate data accuracy control on the front-end display and page layout disorder in some devices that influence user experience are discovered. We have fed back the above bugs to the app developer, and we will continue to update the app.
After the Chinese New Year, we will carry out overall revision and optimization for the wallet and exchange and launch ROOTOKEN 2.0. The new wallet will be upgraded to a full chain wallet, supporting multi-currency and cross-chain transactions. The following are the new user interface.
Version 2.0 not only has a nice user interface, but also can support RNT transaction.

Operation Progress
1. Decentralized Exchange ROOTREX opens the first phase of open beta. To help users manage and trade cryptocurrency assets conveniently and intuitively, the beta ROOTREX has been integrated into the new ROOTOKEN Multifunctional Digital Asset Management Wallet. 100 community volunteers have been invited to participate in internal testing!
Up to January 30, we have received over 500 emails applying for open beta test, thanks for your active participation! According to the application time and form content, in line with the principle of fairness and justice, we have screened out 100 testers. After testing, feed back your valuable suggestions to us (feedback@rootoken.com) to get 200RNT. In the meantime, during the testing period, participants can post bugs and suggestions to the ROOTOKEN test group, and an additional 300–1000RNT will be awarded after official adoption.
2. On January 28 in Jinan, ONEROOT as organizer attended the blockchain’s global journey activity, recruiting co-builders globally. Consensus, co-building, sharing and win-win has always been the core pursuit of the ONEROOT Project. We have set up a special hatching fund to provide funds and technical support to the co-builders of the blockchain ecology and to back up the innovation of blockchain.
