Weekly Report on ONEROOT Project (2018.08.03–2018.08.10)

I.
First, Lu Xun once said: Talent is the core competitiveness of the company! The realization of the co-builder program ultimately depends on the specific people, so ONEROOT has never stopped for the creation of high-quality teams. This month, we like to introduce new members from our technology and operating teams.

XWL, major in Computer Network Engineering, is proficient in WebRTC deployment, management and monitoring systems, WebRTC containerization, CI/CD systems, telecom protocol implementation, telecom server system deployment, RMS system deployment. He is currently working as a wallet engineer in the ONEROOT Technology Department.

FY, holding a master’s degree of Shanghai Jiaotong University, is a master of Perl, Python, Mysql, Flask, Selenium, Scrapy and other languages. With a wealth of financial investment market experience in big data collection and maintenance, he is currently working as a wallet engineer in the ONEROOT Technology Department.

CHC, a former member of the state-owned Beijing Media Propaganda Department

, possesses good knowledge of NUKE, Da Vinci, Adobe series, photography and the film production process, with in depth understanding of FP series photography machines. CHC is our video editor, the big boss behind ROOT TALK series.

Jennifer , former key member of well-known We Media and English subtitle translation group, is now responsible for ONEROOT PR and Planning.

Kate, as a former Xiamen regional manager of the first national incubator-Makerstreet, co-hosted large-scale summits with Ant Blockchain Alliance (now renamed Ant Node Alliance). Now he’s responsible for community planning and operation in ONEROOT.

Lizzy, English major and passed TEM 8, with 3-year experience of political and economic news compilation, in-depth understanding of political sentiment analysis, proficient in Trados and other translation software. Being a member of our translation team, CNY is a crucial part for ONEROOT community overseas expansion.

II. Rootrex has launched TUSD/ETH and TUSD/RNT trading pairs on August 9, PM 2:00

TrueUSD (TUSD) is a stablecoin on Ethereum blockchain, users can redeem 1 TUSD for 1 US dollars. It is managed and regularly audited by trust company. It is distributed and destroyed through smart contracts. For investors, stablecoin can decrease large price fluctuations of digital currency and make an ideal hedge on other investments.

III On August 5, Mr. Sun, the founder of ONEROOT co-builder project, was invited to participate in the first domestic blockchain debate, organized by “45thDistrict”.

Together with ONO founder Ms. Xu and 6 Key Opinion Leaders, Mr. Sun joined in the debate on “whether the blockchain technology today equals to the Internet in 1990s”. The intense debate resulted in some ingenious thoughts. Following excerpts keep you inspired:
