1. Analysts are bullish on bitcoin’s price but the options market is decidedly bearish on the remaining weeks of 2020. Ethereum’s wrapped bitcoin token crosses $2 billion locked. Bitcoin (BTC) trading around $16,240 as of 21:00 UTC (4 p.m. ET). Gaining 0.30% over the previous 24 hours, which trading range was between $15,971 and $16,487.

2. According to The Block Research data, Polkadot Polkadot has become the most popular staking network. Currently, the DOT tokens pledged on the Polkadot blockchain are worth nearly 3 billion U.S. dollars. The second place is Cardano, which is worth about 1.79 billion US dollars. According to Chainlink’s announcement, the project aims to establish a blockchain-based insurance platform to provide affordable insurance for nearly 250,000 small farmers in Kenya to protect them from the effects of climate change in the next three years. The plan increases the chance of small farmers in Kenya to obtain reliable and cheap crop insurance policies, allowing farmers to pay insurance premiums in small installments as low as 50 cents.
